Yōzō learned to make mezzotint prints when he moved to France. Many of these prints feature cherries or other fruits, as shown by the twenty-nine examples included in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Yōzō drew a fruit’s shape accurately but often colored it creatively (e.g., pictures 2-4, 14-19).
